![]() - Mosby's Manual of Diagnostic and Lab TestsI ordered this book for a class and will get much use out of it. Rating: - lab bookI love this book, I have recommended it to all my nursing classmates, and I use it at work. This is an excellent book and I have learned so much more from it. It goes into really good detail on all tests. What the test is, why its important, what its for, gives rationals for abnormal values. I cant stress enough how great this book is. Rating: - MUST HAVECan't get away with not having this baby on the book shelf. A must need for any med student!! Rating: - Everything I needed -I bought this book for nursing school - needed a lab and diagnostics book that was up-to-date and thorough. This book is amazing - exactly what I needed. Rating: - Brilliant Reference for PBL ExamsThis book is absolutely priceless for medical students on a PBL curriculum. As you know, often times lab tests and values are thrown at you with no prior background. This book tells you the purpose of each lab, when you may want to use it, normal values, and a full DDx if values are high or low. A great tool that is comprehensive but not overwhelming. More emphasis and pages are appropriately devoted to the more common laboratory tests, providing the necessary information. |
