Average Rating: Rating: - Practical and informative This text covers very effectively the many facets of musculoskeletal conditions presented in the primary care setting. The approach follows logically, the etiology and causal factors of each injury / condition. To make each ailment better understood, a blend of xrays, diagrams and assessment techniques are offered. This is important, because symptoms often need to be sorted by M-S, circulatory, and nervous innervation. The text also describes prevention and treatment plans which can be recommended by the primary care provider or other disciplines such as physical therapists. Having been referred to so often, this text has been on my office bookshelf for only 2 weeks and already it is showing signs of "wear and tear". It would be an excellent addition to any primary care provider's library.
