  - Very good purchaseI like very much Dr. Otto's books. She was in Brazil last month and I saw her new book. I decided to buy it by the Amazon because I recieved it in my place; I can paid by credit card; and I have an account with this sote that is working well so far. Rating: - Very helpful extra book.It is always OK to use more than one book for study of a subject but for ECHO Feigenbaums is the bible. The 6th edition is a great book and DVD-ROM. Recommended for all levels of echocardiologists. Ottos book is a helpful extra book. If you want to stick to one book get Feigenbaum's. Rating:  - CV AnesthesiologistWell written and easy to understand. Many TTE references are less useful to a beginner in TEE without much TTE experience. Rating: - useful but waiting for the new editionI found this book is useful for all the cardiology trainee as it is well written, easy to understood and there is many figures. However, it did not mention the new technology in the field of echocardiography such as the tissue doppler, contrast echo. I hope the next edition will include this and the illustrations will be more colorful.
