Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Don't do it!
I bought my first Bose music system back in 2005. The sound quality was excellent, so much so that when I moved I got rid of my decades-old cd player, receiver, and speakers. Being partially deaf, I especially appreciated the option of playing the TV through the machine. Shortly after the move, that feature stopped working, so I bought a new system with a 4-cd changer and put the older one in my bedroom. Soon, that cd player began acting erratically (skipping, stopping too soon), and not long after this, the cd changer in the one in the living room stopped ejecitng. Then the same thing happened to the cd slot in the machine proper. All of this, of course, conveniently happened AFTER the warranties had expired on both machbines. So, I'm left with the two most epensive alarm clocks I ever bought.... Yes, I'm bitter, but don't waste your money on Bose!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - You'll regret it
The Bose Wave radio/cd is a total P.O.S. I won't translate that for you. The CD player has a high failure rate. I get disc error messages all the time and it often fails to advance from one track to the next. The same thing happened on another unit that I bought for a family member. Hers is under warranty. Mine is 2 years old and Bose wants $100+ to repair it. This is after paying $499. Then, there's the radio reception or lack thereof. Most stations are plagued by static even though they sound fine on my car radio. Something positive? When music does play properly it sounds good. Unfortunately, with all the problems, mine is just collecting dust. Rarely have I been as disappointed in an expensive product as I am with this radio.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Bose Product, Delivery, and Customer Service
Not only is the Bose Wave System an excellent product, but the customer service I experienced with Bose was also very good. I had a question concerning my order and it was answered quickly (not with an automated email) and the product was shipped to me WELL before the anticipated delivery date. I would definitely recommend this product and using Amazon/Bose online to order it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Wonderful Sound.
I have enjoyed a Bose Radio for over ten year, and visitors to our house admired it's sound and capabilities. I found out that my sister, who lives in Canada, secretly wished for one.
So, as a joint project, family members contributed and made my sister a very happy lady.

This relatively small instrument can fill a large room with wonderful sound! How is that possible? A very big Thank You to Bose. Olaf.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Bozo Radio
I've owned my Bose radio-CD for about six or seven years, and it is the best alarm clock I ever owned. Seriously. But I've had better radios (I'm in my late 70s) that cost relatively a lot less. The celebrated Bose "full" sound is not all that it's cracked up to be, though you may be impressed at first. And the reception is poor. I tried an antenna. Not much improvement. I have a much cheaper radio that does much better. I live in southern Ohio, about a hundred mils from major cities. Oh, and that tiny remote that comes with it. I lost mine early on and ordered a new one, but that did not work very long. I did research and found that's not unusual. All in all, though it is solidly built and has some nice features, and is a status symbol, but it is overpriced and I would not buy another one. The alarm clock feature is what I appreciate most, but $500 for that?
